At either end of the revolutum, the ganglia are paired, acting as brains, shown in the picture on the right. Two nerve cords run the length of the body.
If this parasite enters your body, you may be infected with echinostomiasis, a disease which enters your small intestine and may cause no symptoms, mild symptoms, or severe symptoms. The main symptom is diarrhea. |
